Can anyone give me suggestions on how to answer this question?

What are the benefits of creative arts in relation to young children's development?

and

how does creativity support development? what are some examples of creative experiences?

Thanks

Creative art is also an open ended activity. Children can go as far as they wish with it - it isn't following a particular formula, it is about doing their thing. It allows them to have a real active role in their learning (very Vygotsky!!) Also creative activities allow for lots of communication, lots of chat and social development, again something the theorists love!

Hope this helps
