Hi I am just a bit unsure of what information I need to provide in this question..

Develop a document to record any illnesses that occur in the service. After you develop this complete the following:
A) what are the benefits of tracking the illnesses in the service and how you will use this information?
B) Who should you share this information with and under what circumstances?

Answer:
My understanding of this is.. the document would be a template where we document each time an illness occurs, did it spread? and how long it took to eliminate the illness.

Benefits of tracking the illness is we could determine possible causes and times the illness is more common

The information would be shared with staff and families notifying them of the illness and symptoms to look out for.

I am just not sure if I am on the right track and feedback would be appreciated

Thank you :)

Hi JC,

To help a little with your question on who should you share the information with, most centres put up a sign in their foyer to inform all parents that there has been a case/cases of any contagious diseases in the service, no children's or staff members names are released to any other person. I hope this helps a little.
