This seems like an unusual question lumamelzem. Would you mind submitting the whole question as it is set out in your assignment. EC = Early Childhood but I am sure they want much more info than that.

Let us know and I am sure we can help out.

Hi Cathiek

the question is select one EC curriculum model to explore in depth and prepare a presentation that could be delivered to an EC team thanks. luma

The first one that comes to mind is the EYLF - Early Years Learning Framework that has recently been introduced in Aust. See the ACECQA website - that has lots of info. However this is called a framework as opposed to a curriculum (it is said the framework guides curriculum...!) There is also the Highscope Curriculum - it is classified as active learning through key experiences - lots on the net for this too. Another one is Reggio Emilia which is very environment based (linking people, ideas, environment) and also a NZ model called Te Whãriki which is a web model curriculum. They are all really interesting so have a read and see what you would like to do your presentation on. Heaps of info on all of them online.

Have fun
