The question is:

List some things in your environment you think infants and toddlers may be frightened or anxious about?

I'm a bit stuck because it's asking "things in your environment". I can't think of anything in a childcare setting environment that a child may be frightened of.

I've got: frightened of an un-familiar indoor and outdoor space, with un-familiar children and adults.

But I dont think its really covering the question.

thanks!

Hi Helana4

the first thing that comes to my mind is the toilets. Often young children are anxious about using any other toilet other than their own. Also, they may be anxious about some of the outside play equipment like monkey bars etc.

They could also be anxious about being in a setting with so many other ppl expecillay if they are an only child etc.

Any big changes can make them anxious,
