Having Difficulty Finding Work Placement For My Cert III Course

Hello everyone..... actually I want to know that I am doing cert III in children services, my course is almost complete and I am looking for placements from last 4 months... but find nothing yet. I have been through every childcare centre and family day care centre in my area and near my area... everyone said that they are already filled with students until the end of year. I talked to my institution they said its your problem. Now my whole fees are going to be wasted, because if I can't find my placements my college is not going to give me my cert... please can anyone tell me what I can do now....

Have you tried looking in Werribee? It is about 1/2 hr from Geelong and has alot of childcare centres and kindergartens.

Thanks for your reply... yeah I tried in werribee, footscray, hoppers crossing and geelong..but find nothing.. I have been through 150 centres ....I don't know what to do... because my fees are going to be wasted...

Devinder,

Have you had any luck? I haven't been on here for quite some time I'm sorry. I know of a centre which I helped out with another student that could be of assistance I am happy if you want to contact me or I can send you the details? Why won't your provider assist you with something? There is also the Kinder Ass that i have been in touch with in the past, and a few other centre's down your area.

Have you been going to the centre's in person?

Thanks horrible! Did you finish any part of the course? if it was three months it must have been a traineeship?
