I am doing a Project where I have to write a report on the role of a leader within a community services setting. I am told to research the role of children's services in relation to its contribution to the broader community services industry looking at such things as:
- the role of government
- government policies relating to children's services (I'll consider all three levels of government). Do I just discuss the NQF? or include other community service industries. How do I relate the NQF to community services?
- how to access policies and theories of community service (I'll restrict this to NSW)
- characteristics of community service organisations
community groups and organisations within their own community and how these contribute to the services objectives
My problem is the plethora of resources on google and sifting through to find some relevant, short discussions.
Does anyone have some resources that could help me get started?
