Factors that may limit or stifle creativity in Early Childhood—

1. Adults can limit creativity by discouraging fantasy.

2. They can limit creativity by having low expectations about what young children are able to achieve.

3. Pressure on teachers to focus and literacy and numeracy may also conspire against encouragement of creativity.

4. A lack of training of teachers can also stifle creativity.

5. A tension between meeting the needs of a class and encouraging the interests of an individual can lead to stifle creativity.
