Scenario

It is lunch time in the preschool room and you are sitting with a small group of children while they are eating their meals. You notice a child sitting next to you has started to form a small red rash around his mouth and within minutes it is spreading and it looks like welts are forming.

a. for the pre-schooler above:

What is your immediate first aid response?

how are you reassuring and comforting the child

does this situation require to you contact emergency services

what records are kept

what document must be sent to the licensing body

b. what in your answer would change if the child was an infant

c. what would change if the child was a toddeler?

I have basically written that I would respond immediately by grabbing an epipen and informing my supervisor because I would respond as anaphylaxis and for b and c Im saying that nothing would change? HELP PLEASE XXX

Cand someone please help me out with this scenario!!! Thanks a lot!!
