Ben is four years old, and his parents have informed you that they are Muslim and are guided by halal laws for foods that can be eaten. His parents have informed you that they would not like Ben to be around other children when they are eating forbidden products.

1. Identify what approaches you would use to provide Ben with appropriate foods for his religious practice.

Am not too sure.

Sure...

Food preferences due to religious, health, allergies should be taken extremely seriously by all Educators. Children with different food preferences should be given a different coloured plate in order not to mix up foods. Foods should also be cooked separately/ stored away from other foods in order not to cross-contaminate. Also in the kitchen, child photo with food preferences etc. should be added onto a document so all are aware.
