Centre manager, ECT and Diploma Educator Contract

In regards to contracts for educators, I think it's best to go have at look at the Children's Services Award 2010 and add all the necessary requirements in each contract such as sick days, holiday pay, breaks, overtime, public holidays etc. Educators need to understand what your centre will offer them and you should also cover yourself in case of any legal issues in regards to pay etc. Having educators sign a contract is a good idea, however, I think it should be to the terms of the Children's Services Award 2010. In regards to the contract itself, if you go to the Fair Work Australia they have some templates you could use:

You could also contact Fair Work Australia directly in get help with all the legal requirements in regards to hiring staff, pay etc.
