Hello all,

Please help to answer below question .

Q)List Policies and Procedures in relation to the Indigenous culture, what policies and inclusive practices, would you include for indigenous family ?

My Ans :a)Every Indigenous child has a right to be safe and to live in a stable secure and culturally appropriate placement.. b)Indigenous people should feel welcomed and supported. c)Dealing carefully with the confidential records . 2)In order to implement these policies, educator need to make awareness about their population, encourage your staff to make them feel welcome , paying attention to them without making any discriminations. When handling their records, be careful to keep their personal records confidential. 3)In order to provide knowledge of the local Indigenous population to families and other staff, encourage them to talk to Indigenous people and learn more about them. Encourage them to access resources from various organisations. Celebrate their festivals e.g. NAIDOC week. Put posters that give information about their life.Encourage them to log on to various websites that gives information about them.

However I have not answered this correctly. Kindly please suggest some websites which I can refer.

Thank you,

Pal.
