Hi,

I am currently working through the above module. I am sure I over think the questions sometimes.

The current question I am looking at is:

It is important to provide positive reinforcement for the efforts and achievements of all children including those of different abilities and levels of confidence. How would you do this?

My answer so far:

The preschool were I currently work is fully catered for. In our room we have a number of fussy eaters or stubborn eaters.

It is a great accomplishment when the children try a new food or a food that is prepared differently to home.

Myself and my colleague have implement a stamp/sticker system to acknowledge such achievements. For the children that are extra stubborn we take a photo and send it to their parents this has worked extremely well for us. The parents of these extremely fussy eaters are ecstatic and very appreciated of the feedback.

I'm not sure if this is the right avenue or if I'm totally missing the mark.

Thanks

Great example! You could also include:

- A pat on the back
- A high five
- Clapping
- Encouraging Phrases For Children
