Hi all,

My brain is not working today and I would really appreaciate some help on this!

Q. How do we scaffold childrens creative experiences?

Can someone PLEASE explain this to me in very simple terms! Every time I look up scaffold in the dictionary its says a 'building platform'. I don't want an answer to the question, just the question explained a bit simpler. Thanks :)

I think scaffolding basically means being supportive in a child's learning by providing instances for a child to explore and be creative. So, through creative experiences we can provide children with different materials and mediums (paints, water colours, collage materials etc) to experiment with. It's also beneficial to incorporate photos and conversations which supports a child's learning through scaffolding.
