Hi,

I am struggling to come up with a positive behavioural limit/behaviour guidance for a four year old that won't play with other children?

Any suggestions/guidance much appreciated!!

Thanks

Hey Vezzi,

I think for this try to come up with a few strategies that you could possibly use to encourage the child to interact with others:

1) Provide activities which require small group participation.
2) Include the child in interactions and experiences.
3) Encourage child to play with others.
4) Introduce group game activities.

Hope This Helps!

Cheers :geek:,

Hi Vezzi, In addition to LA's response (always great!), I would like to suggest;
1. Base activities/games on the child's individual interests and what they enjoy playing.
2. Give the child a leader role in a small group experience or activity.
Sandi :)
