My answer I wrote ......It is the Policy of the Chilcare Centre that you attend, that states written authorisation is the only form of permission allowed. This is clearly stated in the Policy & procedures Documents that you signed on joining, and are also written in our information guidelines discussed and handout out at enrollment.
These policies are for the protection and safety of your child. You are very much welcome to pop down to our centre if convenient and sign a form before your child leaves. If you can do this soon, we would very much like “Joe' to attend our excursion with us. Thank you for understanding.
Now a class mate tells me that parents CAN ring and give permission....... my thinking is that it could actually 'not be that person' on the phone, could be the ex'es girlfriend or anyone. Am I wrong please?
I can't find any literature to support this. maybe it is up to each individual Centre also ?
