If you have 8 children, what is the ratio? 1:10?

http://www.dec.nsw.gov.au/what-we-offer/regulation-and-accreditation/early-childhood-education-care/regulatory-framework/national-quality-framework/qualifications-and-ratios

I'm thinking you will need 3 educators because we also have me as a student that will be attending, but they are not included as ratio

also on a risk assessment what does 'Bh' mean?

Hi WarblerOn,
The ratio's depend on the age of the children going on the outing.
Without seeing your risk assessment form I couldn't tell what Bh means. We don't have it on our forms.

I did a quick search on "bh" and all I could find was "behavioural health" which doesn't really make sense to your specific task. Then I happened to come across a sample excursion plan which also happened to mention "bh" which I think refers to "before hours" contact number. I'm adding the example for your reference:

Hope this helps,

BTW - Like Linsaa mentioned need to know the ages to confirm ratio. Since you're only a student you wouldn't be included in the ratio so another educator will need to cover you during the excursion.
