How to get children's attention?

I am having problems with getting children's attention! I am new to the preschool room and can't get them to stay quite to read a book or listen to other children do "show and tell". It's really frustrating and I am finding myself to raise my voice which is not good at all!

What strategies can we use to get their attention?

Hi Agata,

I think maybe you can re-structure in how you do your group time which is where your group of children seem to have the most difficulty in concentrating. They may be bored or not interested enough during this time so when this happens you won't be able to gain their attention.
