your question to why?why not i said billy should not be reported as he was not a child at risk or harm. his behaviour was he was reaching out for help to learn development and social skills. his behaviour was because his family was focused on mum being tired baby not settled dad busy . there was little time for billy at home. he was reaching out for attention i still need help on your no 1

Hi, i had this scenario a while back and was tearing my hair out to, someone did respond after my assignment was handed in...hope some of this stuff helps:

Billy is a child at risk, he already shows signs of abuse, you only have to read the indicaters in the scenario, his father grabbed him and dragged him out the door, pysical abuse, his father is under alot of stress and could eventually do Billy alot of harm if the family isn't given help.

Strategies the center could put in place: follow policies and procedures for potential abuse.

Strategies to help Billy: If possible increase attendance at service, involve billy in group activities to help with his social skills and launguage, discuss behaviour management and stategies with parents, extra attendance at the service would also help mum and the baby.

Hope some of this stuff helps... cheers
