I am stuck on these 2 questions; any help or advice would be appreciated.

1. Adapt experiences to meet the individual child's routines in relation to nappy changing and toileting experiences. What does this mean?

& 2. what is the australian standard code? for safe sleep.

question 2
you might find help here https://www.acecqa.gov.au/resources/information-sheets/safe-sleep-and-rest-practices or check out the red nose website.

Question 1
I would take it mean that you use a child's interests eg. "come on we have to change the tyres or go to the car wash to get nice and clearn. Make it fun rather than just saying "come on, nappy time or time to go to the toilet". Thats what I think but then i may be wrong as i am only new to childcare.

Just adding onto the above point made adaptive experience may also include the home routine such as having child sit on the toilet when taking nappy off, encourage/ help child pull their pants down, cleaning child when they finished going to the toilet, giving them a lot of positive encouragement, singing a song during nappy change, playing a game during nappy change etc.

Hope this helps!
