Hi Lorina, thanks for the well wishes - I have finally submitted! However, I have a work booklet as part of my placement I have to fill out for my supervisor. I have to write a brief statement in regards to the following question.....
Write a statement about your own values and attitudes as they relate to cultural identity and how aspects of the environment can be influenced?
As for my own values....here's a list of what I value.....
Helping others, always learning, accepting people as they are, being a good parent, being there for family and friends. Not sure how this relates to cultural id? Not sure what it means by environment....does it mean the environment where I live(eg coastal area- beaches, mountains and rainforests) or the work environment? Hoping you can help, thanks?!
cheers :)

Ok, so you're on the right track...

Cultural identifiers may be the result of various conditions including location, gender, race, history, nationality, language, sexuality, religious beliefs, ethnicity, aesthetics, and even food.

So, basically, how do you feel about other cultures based on your environment. Do you live in an area where only a certain cultural group may live so in this case you may not have interacted with alot of people from other different cultures? What cultures are represented in your work, through the families... In my case, for example, I never yet have worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people...

Hope this helps!
