List the key benefits of inclusion for the following;

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
A. The benefits of inclusion are.
The Child
For the child with additional needs the benefits of inclusion can be:
o the opportunity to participate in the typical experiences of childhood
o the opportunity to be with other children and form friendships and develop other social skills
o the opportunity for natural learning of skills in real situations
o access to peer models
o the opportunity to gain understanding about the diversity of people in the community
o the opportunity to gain skills and confidence to pursue inclusion in other settings (ie regular schools, recreational groups)
The family:
o the opportunity to pursue work or study or to simply have some "time out" from the carer role.
o the opportunity to meet with, and share knowledge and experiences with other families.
o the opportunity to have siblings attending the same service
o the opportunity to develop relationships with child care staff and to benefit from sharing their respective knowledge and experience
Other children:

o the opportunity to meet and share experiences with people who are varied in ability and backgrounds
o the opportunity to develop positive attitudes towards differences in children
o the opportunity to extend skills and knowledge

Educators:

As educators we also benefit from inclusion.
o opportunities to expand skills, knowledge and professional competence
o the opportunity to develop a positive attitude towards inclusion and people with additional needs

Thank you L.A that got my juices back flowing. I was working around the Belonging aspect so this helped me word what was in my head, lol :lol:
