Creating A Poster To Encourage Healthy Hygiene Habits

Hi!
I have a question to design a poster, encouraging important healthy hygiene habits, aimed at 4 year olds.
I first tried drawing myself (flushing toilet, washing/drying hands, brushing teeth, blowing nose,...)
it wasn't very successful
How do you go about designing a poster on the computer? Which program do you use?
Any tips would be welcome : )

The easiest way to create a poster is in Microsoft Word. For images you can use free clip art images or try flickr to get some photos....

Do you know how to use Word?
