Hello,

Please if anyone can give advice/opinion, thank you =)

I am currently filling in a table and one of the topics is hygiene needs, I am a little confused as the ages on the table are birth-2yrs, 2-4years and 4-6years, the information I can find is 0-2yrs, 2-3yrs, 3-5yrs, 6-12yrs

In the table box

0-2yrs

Children's hygiene needs (birth-2yrs)-reliant on their surrounding, washing hands before/after changes/meals, can be positive encouragement of personal care through enthusiastic communication/talking before during and after changes etc.

2-4yrs box I have put

2-3yrs - through observations children will attempt, still need friendly reminders e.g. after blowing nose, toilet, before/after meals. Experiences in/promoting safe hygiene practices &

3-5years are much more independent, involvement in tasks, setting table, serving lunch and drink, ensuring children wash hands before and after

4-6yrs box I have put

3-5, years are much more independent, toilet, involvement in tasks, setting table, serving lunch and drink, ensuring children wash hands before and after

I am confused as the boxed aged groups in the assessment don't match the information provided in the hand book

Advice on if correct on the right track or not would be very helpful

Thank you so much
